WIN will stop broadcasting Channel 10  in three regional markets.

The decision will take effect across Riverland and Mount Gambier in South Australia, as well as Griffith in New South Wales.

“We are disappointed by WIN’s decision to stop broadcasting Network 10 in the Riverland, Mount Gambier and Griffith markets," said a Channel 10 spokesperson.

"As more advertising shifts to digital platforms, it is important for the Government to continue to support regional broadcasters so essential local services communities rely on can be maintained.

"We know this change is a real and unfair disruption for many regional viewers, especially those with limited internet access or less familiarity with streaming technology.”

Channel Ten urged affected viewers to access streaming on the 10 play app, or at 10.com.au.

Tthe decision had been out of Channel 10's control.

"While aerial transmission in these areas is outside our control, viewers who can access streaming can still find us on the 10 app on connected TVs and mobile devices, or at 10.com.au."

WIN will cease free-to-air transmission of Channel 10, 10 Drama, 10 Comedy and Nickelodeon in the affected regions from 1 July 2026.

WIN's owner is billionaire Bruce Gordon - Nine's largest shareholder with a 14.95% stake as of 2025.

The move comes as WIN continues to expand its footprint within Nine's operations, having snapped up the network's Darwin station, Territory TV, in April of this year.
