Wildstone, the world’s largest owner of outdoor advertising infrastructure, has acquired its first Sydney-based site in Cremorne.

The purchase marks Wildstone’s largest single-site acquisition in Australia.

Wildstone is an outdoor advertising infrastructure business operating across the UK, Europe and Australia, acquiring and leasing high-traffic sites for OOH advertising.

The company partners with both landowners and media operators to generate income from unused land or building facades, while partnering with media operators to provide new OOH locations, capital investment and digitisation expertise.

Wildstone, which owns more than 5,700 billboards worldwide, has acquired 75 assets across the country since 2024, including the new Cremorne billboard.

“We’re excited to have expanded even further into Australia’s thriving OOH market and especially to have done so in such a landmark location in Sydney,” said Noel Cook, managing director of Wildstone Australia.

“We have many more deals in the pipeline and expect our number of assets to increase significantly this year.”

The digital spectacular portrait (4m x 8.1m) sits on Military Road in Cremorne, one of Sydney's most affluent Lower North Shore suburbs, and is described as a standout site in the local OOH landscape.

“The Cremorne site is highly sought after by advertisers wishing to take advantage of its high visibility along a key commuter corridor,” said Robbie Dery, chief commercial operating officer at oOh!media.

The site will remain under the operation of oOh!media as part of the two companies' ongoing partnership.
