UBank, a division of NAB, has appointed whiteGREY as its brand and creative agency, following a competitive pitch.

WhiteGREY will work on communicating the digital bank’s brand evolution. This includes the bank’s focus on removing unnecessary extras and delivering customers a seamless digital banking experience.

UBank previously worked with The Monkeys.

“It’s fantastic to be chosen as UBank’s strategic and creative partner at this significant moment in their history,” says Lee Simpson, whiteGREY CEO.

“The level of UBank’s ambition is matched by the quality of the experience which is an exciting combination. We can’t wait to work with the UBank team to bring this offering to more Australians.”

UBank was launched in 2008 by NAB as one of Australia’s first digital banks. The bank has grown to serve 600,000 customers.

“We are excited to partner with whiteGREY who will help us accelerate UBank’s growth by combining its established name and customer base with 86 400’s technology platform and experience,” says John Cusumano, head of UBank marketing.

“whiteGREY are best placed to support us as we deliver a new digital experience and product propositions to our new and existing customers.”
