WATCH - Perspectives from industry leaders on what's ahead in 2022

AdNews asked a group of industry leaders to dress up, take an optimistic outlook, and tell us what they learnt in 2021 and what want from 2022.

Virginia Hyland, CEO, Havas Media Group Australia: “Be patient, and be kind to ourselves and super kind to everybody that we work with.”

Sam Buchanan, GM, Independent Media Agencies Australia: “ … looking forward to life returning to normal … face-to-face meetings and the ability to buy ugg boots in shops."

Melissa Fein, CEO, Initiative Australia: “This has definitely shown me the power of family and the resilience of my people.” 

Sunita Gloster, Gloster Advisory: “We've all acted in the best interests of our neighbours and our community this year. And that's a wonderful insight to who we are.”

Aimee Buchanan, CEO GroupM ANZ: "I think that concept of making advertising better for people is something that we can get behind, our staff can get behind, and our clients can get behind ... I can't wait to get stuck in.” 

Lisa Squillace, National Sales Director, Network 10 Viacom CBS: “I am looking forward to getting on a plane and going interstate to visit our clients, teams and the industry.”

Sue Squillace, CEO, dentsu Media ANZ:  “Our people, their passion, resilience and support is really what I've learned as pretty amazing through this pandemic.”

Justin Graham, Group CEO, M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ: “We are not going back to the old, we're not going back to the norms. we’re constructing a new industry.”
