Western Australia's Construction Training Fund has extended its search for a marketing and communications agency to handle creative, digital and social media services.

The statutory authority wants a single agency to provide end-to-end services across four areas: creative advertising and production, website services, SEO and social media.

The contract runs for three years from March with two one-year extension options, potentially extending to five years.

Shortlisted agencies may be required to complete a practical task and deliver a presentation to key stakeholders.

CTF collects a 0.2% training levy on WA building projects valued over $20,000 and returns revenue to the construction industry through support programs and funding.

The organisation operates two brands, CTF and Construction Futures, targeting different segments across the construction sector.

Agencies will be assessed on demonstrated experience (50% weighting) and organisational capacity and capability (40% weighting).

The tender requires capability in strategic communications, campaign development, brand strategy, market research and production across all media formats.

CTF is pursuing a strategic plan focused on increasing awareness of construction careers and stimulating greater industry participation, particularly in apprenticeship pathways and regional areas.

The organisation's marketing team of two works with external agencies to deliver campaigns across traditional and digital platforms.

Media buying and planning sits outside the scope as it must be handled through the mandatory Government Media Booking and Buying Services Common Use Arrangement.
