Network 10 owner ViacomCBS AUNZ has appointed Liz Baldwin to head its streaming platforms, including the upcoming Paramount+ service.

Baldwin, who has been with Network 10 since 2015, was previously 10's general manager of digital and oversaw the company’s digital strategy, including livestreaming and 10Play.

In her newly created role as senior vice president, head of streaming, Baldwin will continue to oversee the digital business for 10 Play and will take on the digital strategy for Paramount+. She will also continue to lead ViacomCBS’ growing digital and streaming team.

“Our digital media business has seen significant growth under Liz’s direction and leadership,” says Jarrod Villani, chief operating and commercial officer and EVP of ViacomCBS AUNZ.

“She is the ideal person to lead the digital strategy for ViacomCBS in Australia and New Zealand as we continue to enhance our streaming offerings on 10 Play and soon to be launched SVOD service Paramount+.”

Paramount+ launches in Australia on August 11. Available for $8.99 per month, subscribers will have access to more than 20,000 hours of content throughout the year.

Louise Crompton, previously CMO at Foxtel's streaming service Binge, recently joined Paramount+ as regional VP/marketing and growth.
