Mark Green, known affectionately to all as “Greener”, has passed away.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Stacey, and two sons, Jamie and Hayden.
He was renowned for his gift of the gab and his ability to light up any room he entered. The consummate entertainer, he built unbreakable bonds with his colleagues and friends across the media industry, always leaving a lasting impression wherever he went.
Greener, after moving to Australia in 2001 from the UK, continued his calling in media sales, beginning his career in Sydney in print before discovering his true home in OOH advertising.
Over nearly two decades in the industry, he worked with Airworks Media, Titan Media, Moove Media and TorchMedia, where he became a much-loved part of the team.
He often joked about being a “boomerang”, returning to TorchMedia no less than four times throughout his career.
Always fun to be around, he embodied the spirit of the industry, passionate, loyal, and endlessly enthusiastic. His trademark saying, “always a pleasure, never a chore,” perfectly captured his outlook on life and work.
Greener loved the thrill of the deal, the camaraderie of his colleagues, and most of all, his family.
Gone far too soon, Greener will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
