Kat Droulers, Queensland director of ad sales at Paramount Australia, has died.

She was a former group sales manager at Network 10 and held senior positions at Carat, Media Circus and Mitchell Media.

The network described her as one of the “most generous, grounded and inspiring leaders” in the advertising industry.

“She understood that great sales isn't about the pitch – it's about people,” Paramount said in a statement.

“She was a relationship builder, possessing that rare ability to transform business partnerships into genuine friendships built on trust, authenticity, and mutual respect.

“Kat was incredibly generous with her time, sharing knowledge and nurturing emerging talent with the same warmth and dedication she brought to every aspect of her career.”

Droulers has served as a mentor and role model to professionals across the sector for nearly 30 years.

“Kat was generous with her time, wisdom, and encouragement,” Paramount said.

“She had an instinctive understanding of how to elevate those around her, approaching challenges with creativity, optimism, and an unwavering belief in her team’s potential.

“Her leadership style was built on authenticity and compassion – qualities that made her not just a respected colleague but a cherished friend to many across the industry.”

“Her legacy lives on in the countless careers she influenced, the partnerships she nurtured and the standard of excellence and humanity she brought to every interaction.

Paramount Australia and the advertising and media community has extended its condolences to Droulers’ family and friends.
