Val Morgan Cinema has appointed Ben Thomas acting sales director for NSW, taking over from Annaliese Pedavoli while she is on parental leave.
Thomas has spent two and a half years at Val Morgan Cinema as group sales manager, working across WPP. He previously worked at oOh!, and has a network across the NSW agency landscape and experience across various consortiums.
Guy Burbidge, Val Morgan Cinema managing director, said Thomas' understanding of the market, relationships and leadership made him suited to the role.
"Ben has played an important role in strengthening our agency partnerships and delivering outcomes for our clients," Burbidge said.
Thomas said he was grateful for the opportunity.
"I've absolutely loved being part of the team over the last few years, and I'm incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to take on this role, leading such a talented team while Cinema is in such a strong period of growth and momentum," Thomas said.

The appointment is effective immediately.
