US Sydney, the Razor Group-owned creative agency, has won the advertising and media account for risk management company Veda without a pitch.

The agency was appointed at the end of last year, and will work with the company on an indefinite basis.

US Sydney chief executive and head of strategy Andrew Wynne told AdNews: "What we are most pleased about is that we have been given full strategic, creative and media responsibilities. We are totally responsible for taking these guys to market."

Wynne said that while US Sydney is the lead agency on the business, other Razor Group agencies will work on the account.

Meanwhile, Whybin TBWA Tequila group account director Ryan Bernal has been appointed as US Sydney general manager, replacing Sarah Downie, who has been promoted to the role of Razor Group general manager.
