The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, which kicks off on Thursday, is the first major competition to stream on Stan Sport under Nine’s newly expanded football rights slate.

This follows Monday’s announcement that Nine has secured the exclusive rights to the Premier League and Emirates FA Cup, alongside the addition of Japan’s J.League and the United States’ National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) to Stan Sport’s growing portfolio.

Amanda Laing, managing director, streaming and broadcast at Nine, said UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 marks the beginning of an “exciting new chapter” for Stan Sport.

“It’s a showcase of world-class talent, fierce national pride, and the rising influence of women’s football on the global stage,” she said.

“With the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Emirates FA Cup, J.League and the National Women’s Soccer League also joining the schedule, we’re building a destination that reflects our ambition – to deliver a richer, more connected football experience to fans across Australia.”

The UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, set to take place in Switzerland, will be the 14th edition of the championship and feature Europe’s top 16 national teams competing across four groups.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage. All 31 matches streamed live and on demand on Stan Sport.
