Two for Tuesday: Another Bachelor duo revealed

By AdNews | 19 August 2014

Facebook stalking, a cute pet dog and a very proud mum. Will that be enough for either of today's agency boys to take out the AdNews Cleo Agency Bachelor of the Year title?

Just three more days to go until we reveal the final three in the Bachelor competition – but today it's time for Jeremy Bost, from Starcom NSW, and Jesse Horswill, from Starcom Victoria, to take the limelight.

Three eligible agency Bachelors – one from New South Wales, one from Victoria and one from Queensland – will be selected by Cleo's panel of judges to be entered into Cleo's Top 30 Bachelors final. We'll be unveiling those finalists on Friday.

After that, it all comes down to public votes. So they can't win without your help.

Bost and Horswill join the list of Bachelors that includes Carlos Moller from Maxus Sydney, Andrew Da Silva from MediaCom SydneyJack Blair from TMS Group Sydney, Publicis Mojo's Justin HannanDaniel Day from Y&R Group, George Mortimer from Search Factory, Mindshare Sydney's Shannan Quinn, Clemenger BBDO Sydney's Chris Jordan, Nick Bell from Web Marketing Experts Melbourne, Liquid Ideas' Steve Oxton and Initiative's Shane Choi.

The AdNews Cleo Agency Bachelor is a partnership between AdNews and Bauer's Cleo magazine to find the most eligible bachelor in advertising.

Here's a bit about today's Bachelors:

Jesse Horswill, Starcom VIC, (pictured top)

I should be Cleo Bachelor 2014 because...

I can bake like Peeta Mellark, have my own place and always make sure it’s tidy and love to hang out with my wingman/best friend – my dog, Sebastian.

To impress a girl on a date I would...

First stalk her Facebook to find a restaurant she frequently checks in at and make reservations to take her there for dinner. Then I would search her most frequently-used hashtags on Instagram, so I'm equipped with plenty of facts on all her favourite topics. I like to take a multi-platform approach to these things.

My life motto is...

YOPAO - You Only Post-Analyse Once!

Jeremy Bost, Starcom NSW

I should be Cleo Bachelor 2014 because...

My mum thinks I’d win. She’s a doctor. She knows things.

To impress a girl on a date I would...

Turn off my phone, listen, compliment, empathise and not look directly at her chest.

My life motto is...

Arrogance breeds ignorance. Never ever, ever close your mind to other points of view, as absolutely everyone you’ll ever meet will know something you don’t. How to make cheese for instance.
