The print version of TV Hits, the Pacific Magazines youth title, has been axed, 22 years after it was first published following falling sales.
The magazine hit its heyday in the early 1990s, regularly posting circulation results in excess of 200,000, but the title has become a victim of the digital revolution, with readers increasingly moving online for their music and TV news, gossip and information.
The bi-monthly title was staffed by just three people. It is not known if staff will be made redundant. The name will continue through brand extensions including the website.
