Hearts & Science’s has promoted three to senior roles, across strategy, marketing and people & culture.

Melinda Duffy is promoted to national business development director, Australia; Georgia Leathart moves to national head of strategy, Australia; and Christie Meischke takes on head of people & culture, Australia & New Zealand.

Duffy will leave behind her dual role of client leadership and new business to be fully aligned on new business and marketing. Her promotion to a national role will ensure the agency has the right focus and greater synergy across Sydney and Melbourne.

Strategy powerhouse Georgia Leathart already added tremendous value in Melbourne across several clients while in her Sydney-only role. The goal of the new national remit is to further synergise thinking across the two offices and build out Hearts’ strategic offering across the Australian markets, allowing the teams to offer strategic expertise where there is client need.

With people & culture the number one priority for Hearts going forward, Christie Meischke will now focus solely on that in this new cross-Tasman role. Handing over her marketing remit to Duffy, she will lead on fully connecting the agency culturally across Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland on areas including learning and development.

CEO of Hearts & Science AUNZ, Jane Stanley: “It gives me enormous pleasure to announce these three promotions in the Hearts senior leadership team. Mel’s energy is infectious, and she has a real flair for developing new client relationships.

"The way Georgia thinks and her ability to power through recommendations with ease and grace is unmatched in the market. And finally, Christie is one of the best people and culture leaders I have ever met in my career; she has an incredible ability to develop with care our incredible Hearts team across both Sydney, Melbourne and now Auckland.

“We want to build our team for further success in the months to come and make sure we better connect and create more synergies across Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland. Building connections that matter with clients, partners and - importantly - our internal team. These three extended roles, and these three people, are going to be a key part of that.”
