TRESemmé and Ovolo Hotels launch Hair Service Menu via Emotive

TRESemmé and Ovolo Hotels have partnered to launch the first Hair Service Menu, a complimentary menu which will allow guests to order bespoke, professional haircare to their room.

Premium hotels provide luxury at people's fingertips - room service, gourmet mini bars and pillow menus. But when it comes to indulging in haircare, it’s a one generic product-fits-all situation.

That’s why Emotive brought TRESemmé and Ovolo Hotels together to solve this with the Hair Service Menu, exclusively rolling out across the designer hotel collection including Ovolo’s in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane hotels from Friday, May 10 2024.

The Hair Service Menu will allow guests to order complimentary TRESemmé Pro Collection products tailored to suit their hair care needs, directly to their room.

TRESemmé revolutionary multi-step regimes available to order include the new Lamellar Shine regime, inspired by the viral glass hair trend, as well as Purple Toning, Keratin Smooth, Smooth Curls and Strengthen and Restore.

Tik Tok Creator of the year Indy Clinton, along with other VIPs, put the Hair Service Menu to the test during a launch event at the Ovolo Woolloomooloo Sydney last week.

During the launch weekend in Sydney, guests were also able to request a complimentary blow dry session in their rooms from a top stylist to complement their TRESemmé Pro Collection regime of choice.

Clinton said as someone who travels across the world for work, she knows all too well how much of a challenge it can be to take care of your hair in hotel rooms.

"Having tailored hair care products delivered to your room is a game changer, so I jumped at the chance to give the TRESemmé and Ovolo Hair Service Menu a test run.”

TRESemmé marketing manager Kate Westgate said Ovolo Hotels have been the perfect partner to help bring this idea to life.

"They offer the boutique hotel experience, one that values quality and personalisation as much as we do.”

Ovolo Hotels group director of marketing Stephen Howard said partnering with TRESemmé to offer guests an unparalleled and world-first Hair Service Menu experience during their stay, is a masterstroke.

"At Ovolo Hotels, we're constantly exploring new experiences for our guests to enhance their stay and we believe they'll absolutely love this addition.”

Emotive creative director Kat Topp said this is the kind of work the team love doing at Emotive.

"At its heart there’s a beautifully simple idea that makes you think, ‘Why the hell hasn’t anyone done this before?’ To achieve brand fame for this collaboration, we creatively brought it to life by leveraging our expertise across social, talent, partnerships, PR and brand experience.”
