Tourism Australia is seeking a supplier to provide an end-to-end solution for delivery across its social media programs globally and in China, Japan, and South Korea.
The tender is for a backend content management system for social channels to help manage scheduling of posts, audience engagement, and performance reporting.
Tender submissions close at 5pm Monday, June 2, with an estimated value of $280,000 to $380,000 for the successful applicant. The contract period will begin Friday, August 1, with an option to extend the term for a further two, twelve-month extensions.
The contract covers major platforms including Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, WeChat, Sina Weibo, Douyin and Red (Xiaohongshu), with preferred integration to emerging and regional platforms such as Threads, Pinterest, Snapchat, Kakao and LINE.
Respondents are required to provide case studies demonstrating relevant experience and must offer Australia-based account management, in-language support, and a structured onboarding process.
Tourism Australia's creative and digital services are currently handled by Accenture Song's Droga5, appointed in July last year following a competitive tender.
The agencies were awarded a five-year contract, structured as an initial three-year term with two one-year extension options. The current arrangement replaced previous incumbents M&C Saatchi and Digitas, who held the creative and digital accounts respectively from 2018.
Tourism Australia’s current national campaign, Come and Say G’day, is being advertised across key tourism markets around the world to encourage international travelers to plan and book an Australian holiday
