Ten's The Bachelorette has well and truly picked up where The Bachelor left off – taking over the Twitterverse.
Last night's launch episode, which followed the start of Bachelorette Sam Frost's search for love, was the number one program on Twitter last night, with a 70% share of Twitter TV impressions and 60% share of the Twitter TV audience.
Data from media intelligence platform Meltwater showed that the hype for the show started well before its premiere, with 6379 conversations on #BacheloretteAU between now and 17 September.
In addition to BacheloretteAU, Frost and Channel Ten were popular on Twitter along with contestants Davey and Sasha and the show's host Osher Gunsberg.
The word 'owl' was also popular in twitter conversations, relating to contestant Drew who tried to impress Frost by bringing an owl.
But in case you missed all the fun, AdNews has rounded up a few of our favourites.
