The Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) is reviewing its media account as part of continued investment in its media strategy, AdNews can reveal.
“As we significantly invest in media each year, it’s important that we’re receiving the best possible value and service in-market,” a Ticketek Entertainment Group spokesperson said.
“This process is part of a long-overdue review.”
The spokesperson said more details will be available once the review is finalised.
TEG is home to Ticketek, SXSW Sydney, Laneway Festival and more than 30 entertainment brands across 40 countries.
While TEG focuses on live entertainment, ticketing, and data analytics, it doesn't currently have one dedicated media agency.
TEG utilises various agencies for its marketing and media activities, including its in-house media and marketing division, Ovation.
The Ovation Agency delivers marketing and creative services for all TEG promoter businesses, combining internal expertise with external partners.
Its remit covers strategy, branding, content, digital, insights, and campaign execution.
The current media agency for TEG’s subsidiary, TEG Live, is Zenith Sydney.
Zenith has retained the account since winning it in October 2017, and has been responsible for media strategy, particularly for music tours and exhibitions.
TEG Live previously handled its media directly.
