This is Flow has won the paid media strategy, planning and buying business for Charles Sturt University, following a competitive tender.

The independent agency takes over the account from incumbent Dentsu Qld.

The university has campuses across regional New South Wales, plus Canberra and Parramatta, and delivers courses through three faculties: Arts and Education; Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences; and Science and Health.

This is Flow CEO Jimmy Hyett said the agency's skill set aligned with CSU's strategic brief and business ambitions.

"I can't wait to see the level of growth we can create together," Hyett said.

Charles Sturt University associate director, brand and performance marketing, Brooke Thompson, said This is Flow showed strong strategic thinking and cultural understanding.

"This is Flow consistently demonstrated strong strategic thinking and the cultural understanding required to effectively engage future students," Thompson said.

She said the university wants the opportunities it offers students, at its regional campuses and online, to reach as many people as possible.

This is Flow's recent client wins include Cranky Health, Amazon Ring, Fuji Film, Panasonic and Opal Health Care. The agency also retained KingGee and Hard Yakka following a competitive pitch for Workwear Group.

Charles Sturt University is the largest tertiary education institution in regional Australia, with more than 40,000 students studying on campus and online.

Flow's partnership with Charles Sturt starts at the end of July, with activity rolling out from August.
