This is Flow has completed a 12-month cyber security uplift with CyberAi, strengthening the systems, policies and processes protecting its clients, staff and operations.

The agency now assesses its technology environment against the Australian Signals Directorate's Essential Eight framework, having rolled out improvements across technology, device management, staff training and security practices.

The upgrade includes enterprise mobile device management across all agency devices, new endpoint security technology, and an overhauled Data and Information Security Policy.

Flow has also introduced mandatory cyber security and data protection training, phishing simulations, and formal security checks during onboarding and compliance processes.

Tim Brimmer, director at CyberAi, said Flow's leadership treated security as core to how the agency operates, rather than as a compliance exercise.

"Flow stands out as one of the leading independent agencies that invest in the standards, controls and resilience their clients rightly expect," Brimmer said.

The new systems give Flow real-time visibility of the health and security status of its devices, with centralised controls to deploy updates, enforce policies and remotely lock or wipe devices.

Device onboarding is now faster and largely automated, with consistent security standards maintained regardless of where employees work.

This is Flow chief executive Jimmy Hyett said cyber security had become essential to client service as agencies manage increasingly complex platforms, data, budgets and campaigns.

"Without knowing where to start, partnering with CyberAI was one of the best decisions we made," Hyett said.

"Their team were able to guide us through the requirements, tools and training needed to be in the best position we can be in today."
