The WFH Diaries - Natalie Kisacanin at Revolution360

AdNews brings the stories of those working from home (WFH) in the advertising and media industry during the coronavirus crisis.

Natalie Kisacanin is senior account manager at Revolution360.

How are you dealing with the silence?
I am only in my full second week of WFH. Between working and moving house last week I have been keeping super busy so I haven’t had an abundance of time to completely sit still just yet! In saying that, I am enjoying the silence and feel super productive. I go between sitting in complete quiet, to listening to music in the background.

What’s the upside?
My puppy (who thinks she’s my new personal assistant) couldn’t be happier that I’m home every day – as am I to have her company. I also don’t have to think of what to wear every day as I go from activewear to more activewear... which suits me just fine! Also the fact that I’m cooking more often and eating better has its benefits too.

The downside?
I miss human interaction and my colleagues; I’m very much a people person. I like waking up and actually going into an office rather than the monotony of being at home all the time.

How are you using the commuting time saved?
I normally walk to and from work, so now that I’m not doing that anymore I’m walking my puppy Chloe instead.

I am looking forward to being back in the office because…
My colleagues are a great bunch of people, we always have a laugh and are a close team. Although we are in touch over the phone or Zoom calls it isn’t quite the same as going into the office and having the interaction, banter and ability to easily bounce ideas off of one another.
