The most engaged brand video ads on Twitter in Australia in January, 2021:

“We’re kicking off a new year with some great brand videos on Twitter," says Jay Trudgen, head of video advertising, APAC at Twitter.

"The top videos this month all centred on informing and inspiring Aussies. We saw the likes of @healthgovau’s educate Australian’s on how to find out more on the COVID vaccine rollout, @FireRescueVic provide lifesaving advice on how to stay safe this fire season and brands like @defencejobsaust show the rewarding career that can be had in the air force.

“All of these brand videos also tapped into really important cultural moments happening right now — the rollout of the COVID vaccine in February and peak fire season in Australia for example. These videos are important reminders of how brands can connect with the events, concerns and trends that are interesting to Aussies right now.”

The top-performing brand videos include:
@SlackHQ — Slack is where work happens With remote working in full swing, @SlackHQ showcased its best work-enhancing functionalities to promote teamwork and productivity without the dreaded email back and forths.

@FireRescueVic — Plan Act Survive @FireRescueVic asked Aussies ‘how well do you know a fire’, sharing life-saving advice on what to do if in a car near a grassfire.

@DellAustralia — Dell Technologies Advisors @DellAustralia promoted its Dell Technologies Advisors reminding small businesses owners it is here to help.

@defencejobsaust — What is up? @defencejobsaust revealed how rewarding a job in the air force can be to help Aussies reach their full potential.

@StreetSmartQLD — School is back and so are school zones With children now back at school, @StreetSmartQLD encouraged Queenslander motorists to appreciate school crossing supervisors and do their bit in school zones by slowing down and staying alert.

@healthgovau — Stay informed on COVID-19 vaccines Australia’s first COVID vaccines have now arrived in the country with @healthgovau launching its latest video on how consumers can stay informed on its rollout.
