News Corp Australia and streaming platform Tubi have partnered with the Media Federation of Australia’s (MFA) NGEN program and Nova Entertainment to host a Halloween party for the next generation of media professionals.
The event is in Sydney on Tuesday,October 28, hosted by Trinity the Tuck, star of Tubi original horror film SLAY and RuPaul’s Drag Race, alongside radio co-hosts Ricki-Lee Coulter, Tim Blackwell and comedian Joel Creasey.
"Our Tubi partnership has exceeded all expectations, with viewer hours soaring 50% since March," said Jessica Gilby, general manager digital, News Australia.
"This Halloween event with global drag superstar Trinity the Tuck connecting with 350 of the industry's brightest rising stars represents the next chapter in that growth journey.
"Entertainment should be accessible to all and the message 'Why pay to scream when you can stream for free?' captures exactly what Tubi offers for the next generation of Australian audiences."
Nova listeners can win exclusive VIP tickets which includes flights, accommodation, and transfers promoted through on-air integration.
The Tubi Halloween event will also be covered across the social media of Nova’s radio shows.
"The NGEN Halloween celebration has become a cornerstone event for the industry's emerging talent – a chance to come together, connect and celebrate their learning and development," said Melanie Aslanidis, head of NGEN at the MFA.
