The major brands advertising alongside Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Disney has closed a deal with major brands -- Porsche, United Airlines, Samsung Mobile, Dannon, Bose, GE appliances, McDonald’s and General Mills -- for the right to Star Wars-themed advertising during the release of movie the Rise of Skywalker.

Entertainment reports the companies will be rolling out campaigns for the ninth chapter in the Star Wars story from November 1. 

McDonald’s will have themed Happy Meals, United Airlines a special aircraft design, and Porsche will promote its first electric car. 

Reports are also coming in that Disney, the new owner of the Star Wars franchise, will have intensified merchandising for the launch of the Rise of Skywalker.
