Starcom pinches from News Corp for Suncorp hire
Starcom Australia has appointed Carl Colman to head up its Suncorp account.
Colman comes from News Corp, where he had 20 years of experience. Most recently he served as director of national customer solutions where he played a key role in developing sales, data and content strategies across the automotive, travel &tourism, entertainment, health and finance sectors.
He will start with the agency on 11 May.
Marshall to replace Matthews at Carat Perth
Adam Marshall will replace the retiring Alan Matthews as managing director of Carat in Perth, coming from Mindshare in Singapore.
Marshall has worked in Perth before, having headed up Maxus in 2006 and being appointed as managing director of OMD WA in 2008 before his Singapore sojourn in 2013.
He is due to start in June.
Nova appoints new music director for 96.9
Nova Entertainment has appointed Wendy Saunders as music director for Nova96.9, across its key programs and national shows.
Saunders has more than 13 years' experience in music programming and production, most recently as music programmer at MTV Australia. She previously spent seven years at Foxtel across various channels including Channel [V], CMC and Arena.
Her appointment is effective immediately.
