Pac Mags appoints former SCA director as head of digital

Pacific Magazines has appointed a new head of digital and innovation with Darren Kerry taking the role.

Kerry joins from a role at Southern Cross Austerero where he was digital design, development and operations director. Kerry will start his new role next month.

Huckleberry wins AEG Power Tool social account

Denstu - owned creative agency Huckleberry has won the social account for AEG power tools.

The remit of the account will including developing a social engagement strategy for the brand, ongoing community management and content development across all of its social channels.

Huckleberry MD Melissa Roberts said: “We’ll be working to significantly grow AEG’s social community’s scale and brand engagement and we’re really looking forward to creating some fun and meaningful interactions with Australian tradies.”

Former Video Ezy marketer takes on Fastway Couriers role

Fastway Couriers has appointed the a former Video Ezy marketing head as its new global marketing manager.

Simon Sproule's appointment to the company is effective immediately and he will report directly to Fastway Couriers Australia CEO Richard Thame.

Sproule has more than 24 years experience in global marketing. His previous marketing roles include big names such as Video Ezy, Freedom, Pizza Hut and KFC.
