OMD popular, but The Lighthouse Foundation wins at talent show

OMD has taken out the top prize at UN Ltd's media agency talent show in Melbourne last night, whipping more than 300 people at Lux Bar into a frenzy with hip hop stylings, and for donating its $2500 winner's cheque to charity.

The agency's “Optimum Direction” hip-hop dance squad won the night, while Nunn Media's vocal and guitar duo Jordanna and Brendan's TripleJ-inspired mash-up also impressed judges Colin Lane, Patrick Harvey, and The Voice contestant Tim Morrison.

Funds raised last night went towards the The Lighthouse Foundation, which aims to end youth homelessness.

Family Feud turns one

Network Ten's Family Feud is celebrating its first birthday on Tuesday July 14, but the party will begin on Sunday 12 July.

The show has given Ten momentum in the 6pm timeslot, and Ten will celebrate with a special celebrity appearance, and a look back at some of the favourite moments from the past year.

Home viewers will also have the chance to win some amazing prizes across the week.

Quiip names business wins

Social media and community management agency Quiip has celebrated its fifth birthday with several new wins.

The agency announced it is now working with the Sydney's Writer's Festival, NSW Health STI Programs Uni, VicHealth and Breast Cancer Network Australia.

Quiip CEO Alison Michalk said the growth comes as organisations realise that communities are the future of business.

"In the last year in particular, we've seen an increase in brands considering proprietary communities as their long-term strategy," Michalk said. "This trend is clearly reflected in the volume of telcos and financial service businesses investing heavily in their customer communities."
