Havas brings in digital leader

Havas Media has lured Aneeket Dayal to head up its digital strategy in Australia. He was OMD's youngest digital leader in Asia.

As digital strategy director, Dayal will be responsible for leading client business, driving digital expertise across the Havas Village group of companies, and seeding new business concepts.

Het joins Havas Media at the start of its second year of operation.

Last year the agency launched with a raft of local new business successes, with wins including Goodman Fielder, Modern Brands, PayPal, DE Master Blenders, American Express and Valspar Paint to add to global assignments such as the LG Electronics and Emirates Airlines media wins.

SMG Australia takes home gong

Starcom MediaVest Group Australia has taken home the gong for best Starcom MediaVest Group office in the world.

The ONE awards, run by the parent company, reward the best experiences and campaigns of the year, and include several criteria including service and revenue diversification.

It also gives points for external awards and staff culture.

ADMA appoints Scott

The Heart Foundation's former national manager of legal, Jeannette Scott, has joined the Association for Data-Driven Marketing as its new director of legal and regulatory affairs.

In her new role, Scott will deal with all aspects of marketing and advertising compliance including developing resources and education initiatives, and holding compliance-related events.
