Perth.

UnLtd, the industry’s social purpose organisation, is expanding to Western Australia.

Carol Morris, who launched UnLtd in Australia, has been appointed general manager Perth.

“I’m delighted to be returning back to my UnLtd family and so excited to be able to grow our social impact in my home town," she says.

"The Perth market is full of passion and talent and there is a real desire to give back to the community and I’m looking forward to galvanising that energy to create positive social impact for children at risk.”

The first Perth partnership is with Dentsu to create marketing strategy and support for Dismantle, a local youth development charity using bicycle mechanic activities and mentoring to help vulnerable young people.

UnLtd has also announced a Big Clash cricket tournament launching in Perth next month.

Chris Freel, CEO of UnLtd, says he hears there are a few sporting ladies and gents in the market who fancy themselves as budding cricketers.

"This is their chance to prove it and represent the Owners or the Agencies to see who can take the spoils and bragging rights in year one," says Freel.

The Big Clash events have s ince launch six years ago raised more than $500,000 to help children at risk.

The Perth event will see male and female teams go head to head in a fiercely competitive game of 20/20 style cricket between Media Owners and Agencies, to raise funds for local youth charity Dismantle.

Sponsored by Nine Radio, JCDecaux and NewsCorp, Big Clash Perth will take place on March 12 at Leederville Oval.

Players are locked in from Initiative, Meerkats, Dentsu, 303MullenLowe, Nine Radio, JCDecaux, News Corp and oOh! Media. There are still a few places available so please contact carol@unltd.org.au to reserve your space.
