The Electoral Commission of South Australia is seeking an advertising agency to design a cross-media campaign to improve public participation in the 2026 state election, AdNews can reveal.

An open tender, issued by the Attorney-General’s Department, closes June 10.

The successful agency will work with the Electoral Commission of South Australia to deliver an evidence-based campaign that raises awareness, targets diverse audiences, educates disengaged voters, and inspires behaviour change.

The Electoral Commission of South Australia described the election as its “largest and most complex recurrent logistical exercise”.

There are currently 1,309,809 people on the electoral roll in South Australia.

The state election will be held on March 21.
