Specialist media company Swift has closed a deal to install digital screens in aged care homes.

The company today announced an agreement with Uniting NSW.ACT to install Swift Plus in 1,986 rooms across 25 Uniting Residential Aged Care homes.

Uniting operates 72 residential aged care homes in 58 locations across NSW and ACT.

Swift Plus technology provides residents with information about what’s happening across the home, curated Aged Care content including low stimulus and memory jogger content, live streams of church services and Hollywood classics.

The system offers significant time-saving for staff to communicate important health and safety messages from head office across all facilities at once and provides a platform for staff education and engagement with residents.

Uniting will also be deploying Swift’s "My Family, My Community" app that enables facilities to communicate directly with families and share updates for their residents.

Swift Media CEO Pippa Leary: “We are thrilled to partner with Uniting to provide our market leading technology which is a solution to the social isolation affecting aged care residents, particularly during the COVID lockdowns. Our Swift Plus technology and ‘My Family, My Community’ app is specifically designed to help isolated communities easily communicate and engage.”

Uniting Head of Residential Operations Sydney South East, Renee England: “Having surveyed the market for solutions that will improve the care and wellbeing of our residents, we are delighted to partner with Swift. The Swift Plus technology is easy to use and the content is ideally suited to our residents. The ‘My Family, My Community’ app is the perfect way to include our residents’ families so they can stay up to date with their loved ones.”

Swift is a specialist media company delivering premium entertainment, communications and advertising to an audience of 5 million plus via 60,000 digital assets nationally across mining and resources, residential aged care and health and wellbeing.
