Betty's Burgers has appointed Superhuman to handle media strategy, planning and buying as the burger chain pushes into a new round of expansion.

The Noosa-founded brand, which has grown to 75 restaurants nationally since 2014, is opening new stores and preparing burger launches.

Luke Maher, founder of Superhuman, said the brief played to what the agency was built to do.

"Media right now means we can do things for Betty's that wouldn't have been possible even 18 months ago, and we can do it faster and better than ever before," Maher said.

"We're using new tools to test incrementality, connections planning that creates meaningful impact and media spaces that are more creative than they've ever been. It's a great time to be doing this work."

Aimee Hocking, head of marketing and experience at Betty's Burgers, said the appointment marked a new chapter for the brand.

"We have a clear vision and we're hungry to look at fresh ways to take the brand to new audiences as a key enabler of that," she said.

"We're getting trusted, senior-led advice from people who are in the platforms making decisions for us.

“They're thinking about the full customer journey from awareness right through to the till and that's helping us test, learn and scale at a pace we've never achieved before."

Superhuman, less than a year old, has also picked up WelleCo, Neighbourhood Watch, State Trustees Victoria and CompNow.
