Super Bowl 2025 - Google, Mountain Dew, Booking.com

Celebrities, comedy and cars will all be featured during the Super Bowl - considered the peak of commercial creativity - this Sunday. 

Celebrity-driven spots, featuring Post Malone and Doja Cat, aim to capture the attention of younger audiences, who split their attention between TV and digital platforms like TikTok. 

Beer, snacks and chocolate - all necessary ingredients of Super Bowl watching parties - also feature large.

PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew with a spot encouraging friends to enjoy a Baja Blast as they cheer on their favorite team. 

Tech giant Google has released a teaser, ‘50 States, 50 Stories’, which showcases their AI technology named Gemini. 

Travel company Booking.com has leaked a commercial, created by Zulu Alpha Kilo, with Kermit the frog. 

Booking.com. senior vice president and chief marketing officer Arjan Dijk said this year's campaign has blended nostalgia, modern storytelling, and a bit of playful imagination.

“With this campaign, we’re putting the spotlight on the incredible choice, ease and value that Booking.com offers, making it easier for travelers to find exactly what they’re booking for,” he said 

“This year’s creative celebrates the relatable humor and playful moments of travel planning, showing how Booking.com can meet the needs of every traveller.” 

Fox, this year’s broadcaster, has reportedly been selling 30-second commercial spots for more than $US7 million.

Last year’s broadcaster, CBS, pulled in nearly $700 million in advertising dollars from the NFL’s big game. 

Super Bowl LIX, with an audience of more than 120 million, is being held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 9.

American rapper Kendrick Lamar is headlining the halftime show, said to be one of the biggest musical events of the year, sponsored by Apple Music.

The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs, who are hoping to make history by becoming the first team to win a three-peat.
