Full-service Melbourne agency Spinach has been appointed by Queen Victoria Market to handle media, digital and data.

The scope of the work spans media planning, strategy and trading including all digital, social and search for the business.

The account was won from the incumbent Nunn Media. AdNews understands the media spend is approximately $2 million.

“Spinach’s ability to combine ideas, strategy, insights and data to maximise opportunities and deliver results is so refreshing and we’re thrilled to partner with them," Queen Victoria Market marketing manager Meg Dalla Lana says.

The appointment follows Melbourne’s lord mayor Sally Capp's commitment to market traders to increase marketing to further promote the destination.

“Spinach is delighted to be working with one of Melbourne’s most famous home-grown entities," Spinach GM and media director Ben Willee says.

"Queen Victoria Market has enriched the lives of Victorians for generations and we look forward to helping the business grow bigger and stronger."
