Advertising Council Australia (ACA) has opened jury nominations for 2026’s Spikes Asia and Cannes Lions Festivals of Creativity.

“Creativity is Australia’s most valuable export,” said ACA CEO Tony Hale.

“We’re known globally for our innovation and craft, and this is a chance for leaders across disciplines, not just creatives, but also CEOs, client-side marketers, strategists and tech experts, to help shape the global benchmark for creativity.”

Cannes Lions takes place June 22-26 2026, while Spikes Asia judging will run from March 7-12 2026 in Singapore.

Eligible nominees include recognised leaders across advertising, audio, media, marketing, design, and more, as well as industry specialists and those who have won Spikes, Lions, or other major global awards within more than three years.

“Judging Spikes Asia was an incredibly rich and rewarding experience,” said 2025 Spikes Jury president, Creative Effectiveness and Creative Strategy, Lindsey Evans.

“The standard of the work, the judges, and the debate in the room, together with the organisation of the event, were second to none.

“The challenge of judging the ideas, thinking and role of creativity across such diverse markets and cultures was an extraordinary opportunity and one I am most grateful for personally and professionally.”

Only jurors who are Australian residents can nominate via ACA.

Nominations close 5pm, Friday September 26.

“My jury experience opened my eyes to the calibre of media innovation and made me proud of what Australian talent can bring to the stage,” said 2025 Media Lions juror Aimee Buchanan.

“I’d encourage anyone at the top of their game to put their hand up. It’s a rare chance to contribute and learn.”
