Spark Foundry has been appointed by Clarins in Australia to manage its media strategy, planning and buying, following a competitive pitch.

The luxury beauty company’s strength has traditionally been in anti-ageing products, with a strong focus on sustainable development and responsible beauty.

“Clarins is a prestige brand with an incredible history," says Imogen Hewitt, CEO of Spark Foundry Australia.

"The company’s ethos of using plant-based active ingredients, respecting nature and protecting biodiversity, while not compromising on efficacy, has never been as relevant as it is today.

“We’re delighted to be able to play a role in introducing the Clarins range of products and philosophy to a wider customer base. It’s an exciting win and we’re looking forward to starting 2021 working with a company at the forefront of product
innovation in the beauty and skincare industry.”

Jerome Bellony, managing director at Clarins: “We are delighted to be partnering with Spark Foundry to drive our media strategy for 2021.

"With several other European affiliates already associated with Spark Foundry we are well placed to tap into their insights and learnings for a strong start to the year.

"Clarins will accelerate its communication on our long-standing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility practices with our new motto ‘making life more beautiful, passing on a more beautiful planet’.

"Thanks to this initiative, along with some exciting product innovations in the year to come, we are looking forward to celebrating success.”

Spark Foundry will start work on the account in January out of the agency’s Sydney office.
