Independent media agency Media33 has hired former Spark Foundry managing director Pete Butler as managing partner, starting March 1.
Butler joins the Melbourne-based agency after a senior leadership career across some of Australia's largest media agencies, including ten years as Spark Foundry.
He will work alongside executive leadership team members Jenna Lambert, Mick Bradley and Michael Lambert, with responsibilities spanning client partnerships and strategic and operational development.
"The calibre of the team and the way Media33 approaches media and the respect they have for their clients stood out immediately," Butler said.
"This role felt like the right next step in my career and an opportunity to build on my experience with a group of people aligned on where the business is heading."
Media33 executive director Michael Lambert said Butler was introduced through an industry contact and was quickly identified as the right fit.
"Pete brings exceptional team leadership and experience, we are excited to use his extensive knowledge and mentorship to grow our business and our leadership team both personally and professionally," Lambert said.
Media33 works across digital and traditional media in sectors including DIY, FMCG, retail, sport and live entertainment.
