Spark Foundry Australia has promoted Sue-Ellen Osborn to chief investment officer and Rachida Murray to chief digital and media officer.
Osborn steps up from her role as national head of investment. She will lead the agency’s activation team and drive commercial growth through media partnerships and strategic investment.
“I’m incredibly excited to step into the role of chief investment officer at Spark Foundry. It’s a privilege to lead one of Australia’s most passionate and creative activation teams,” Osborn said.
“Together, we’ll continue to deliver outstanding and innovative campaign outcomes for our clients, delivering real business impact and progression for our talent in an ever-evolving media landscape.”
Osborn will report to Murray, who moves into the newly created role of chief digital and media officer.
Murray previously served as chief digital and technology officer and has been with the agency for almost 12 years.
She will oversee the integration of Spark Foundry’s investment, digital and technology disciplines into a single team focused on measurable client outcomes.
“I am thoroughly excited to step into this role and work alongside Sue-Ellen, and our incredible digital, activation and partnership leads,” Murray said.
“Together, we will build one connected activation team that delivers simpler, sharper and more impactful media for our clients, while setting our people up to thrive in an omnichannel future.”
Spark Foundry CEO Matthew Turl said the promotions recognise both leaders’ contributions to the agency’s growth.
“Sue-Ellen has been an integral part of our agency’s success over the last five years, working alongside the broader investment leadership team to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients,” he said.
“She combines deep experience with a progressive view on the evolution of her craft.
“Sue-Ellen will work collaboratively with Rachida, who is taking on a transformational leadership role overseeing and integrating a cross-channel team of activation specialists.
"itting at the intersection of innovation, leadership and growth, Rachida will drive Spark Foundry’s connected media promise, ensuring our people, partners, and platforms work seamlessly together to deliver strong business results for our clients.”
The leadership changes follow the departure of Lucie Jansen, who has led Spark Foundry’s investment proposition for seven years.
