Melbourne digital agency Sod has been appointed by Carman's Kitchen to design and build a new website for the snack brand, adding to its FMCG portfolio that includes Nuttelex, Connoisseur and Proud & Punch.

The new platform is intended to improve user experience and better reflect Carman's brand story as the Victorian-founded company continues expanding its muesli, bars and breakfast range across Australian supermarkets and internationally.

A Carman's Kitchen spokesperson said the agency's track record won them over.

"We were very impressed with their expertise and experience across FMCG and e-commerce websites, and combined with their collaborative approach to strategy and design, this partnership feels like a great fit," the spokesperson said.

Christian Fish, co-founder and creative director of Sod, said the stakes for FMCG websites had grown.

"Websites for FMCG brands need to do more than look good, they need to communicate the brand story clearly while supporting marketing campaigns and product growth," Fish said.

"We're excited to partner with Carman's to create a digital platform that reflects the strength of their brand and helps them connect with customers in a more meaningful way online."
