Former head of digital and business development at Social Soup, Thomas Lyngsfeldt, has upped sticks and returned to agency land as OMD Australia’s interactive director.

Lyngsfeldt, who had been at the social media agency for less than a year, arrived at Social Soup in November 2014 from MEC, where he held varying roles from senior interactive planner to senior digital manager and later digital director.

Prior to MEC he also worked at PHD and OMD in Denmark – working on clients such as McDonald's, Sony Pictures (Disney) and Pan Vision.

Head of interactive OMD Sydney, Dan Robins, said: “We’re really excited to have Thomas join the business.

“Thomas’ digital experience across verticals in both large and boutique agencies will be advantageous not only to his client, but to the OMD digital product as well.”
