Sneaky Digital, the tech-enabled media buying agency within the April Ford group, has appointed married couple Dave and Katie Stewart as head of growth and head of creative respectively.
Dave Stewart joins with a background in health and sales and marketing.
He has already secured Sukin and VicVet, one of North Melbourne's largest 24/7 animal hospitals, operated by Apiam Animal Health, as clients.
Katie Stewart brings nearly 15 years of experience, including five and a half years as one of Canva's first paid designers after the platform launched its template offering.
Her designs have been downloaded more than 20 million times. She will work alongside chief investment officer Gemma Graye.
April Ford, co-founder of Sneaky Digital, said the pair brought together commercial understanding and creative delivery in a way that was rare.
"Having them both leading growth and creative at Sneaky Digital feels like a natural fit, and the early results speak for themselves," Ford said.
"Coming from health and sales, I've spent my career understanding what makes people make decisions," Dave Stewart said.
"Bringing that into a performance agency context, particularly one growing as fast as Sneaky, felt like the right next step."
Katie Stewart said creative without media context was just art.
"Having both disciplines working together means every piece of creative is built for the placement it lives in, and the campaigns are stronger for it."
