International integrated communications agency VCCP Business has acquired Sling & Stone, the Australian PR and communications firm founded by Vuki Vujasinovic 11 years ago.

Sling & Stone, with a focus on startups and technology companies, has offices in Sydney, Auckland and Los Angeles with 70 staff. Current clients Twitter, Google, Stripe, Xero, and Zip.

Vujasinovic told AdNews: "You go it solo (build the plane as you fly it) for 11 years and it's nice to have the brains and brawn in your corner of a group like this.

"They're lovely people, they have global scale, and incredible experience. Really looking forward to this next chapter — we'll be even bigger and better."

The commercial details of the sale haven't been revealed.

Sling & Stone will work in partnership with leading technology agencies Method in North America and Harvard in the UK, as well as advocacy specialist agency inEvidence.

The combined global PR and communications group will grow the group’s technology billings to $50 million (£30 million), with a 250 plus team.
