The radio ratings have returned, with 2GB still on top in Sydney, including during the breakfast slot with new host Ben Fordham.
The sixth survey is only the third to be released this year, after the ratings were suspended in April due to the pandemic.
Fordham, who replaced Alan Jones in May, captured 17.3% of the share for the breakfast slot in Sydney. It's followed by KIIS1065 with 10.2% of the share movement.
“Despite significant changes in key shifts on 3AW and 2GB our audience has stayed with us and knows who to trust” says Greg Byrnes, Nine Radio’s head of content.
“We’re humbled and grateful that given everything Victoria has been through, Melbourne has turned to 3AW’s presenters and newsbreakers in record numbers.
“At 2GB, Ben Fordham took on the toughest job of all when Alan stepped down and has marked his first survey as Sydney’s clear number 1 with a share of 17.3%.”
Meanwhile during the drive time slot, Smooth FM is the number one commercial radio network, followed by KIIS1065.
