Shares in Seven West media and SCA after the media group and audio broadcaster announced a merger.
A short time ago, SCA shares were trading more than 7% higher at 90 cents. Seven West was also more than 7% higher at 15 cents.
Both companies, despite the difference in share price, have a similar market capitalisation.
The combined entity, following the merger, is expected to have a market capitalisation of about $417 million.
The new company would have revenue of more than $1.77 billion.
