Senior hires at 72andSunny

Global creative company 72andSunny has boosted its team in Australia with four hires in strategy and creative roles.

72andSunny Sydney president Ross Berthinussen says the world-class talent will drive growth.

“72andSunny’s vision has always been to drive growth by impacting culture. We’re stoked to add this world-class talent to the team to help deliver this", Berthinussen says.

72andSunny Sydney ECD Luke Martin says he looks forward to the added creativity.

“It’s rad to have such superstars joining the 72 family, we have great energy, and are making lots of awesome work right now. I can’t wait to see what we all create together”, Martin says.

Joining the team are:

Highly-awarded creative Genevieve Hoey. She has a global career of nearly 20 years developing culture-shaping campaigns, products, platforms and experiences for some of the world’s most iconic brands including Nike, Converse, Booking.com, Corona, BMW Mini and H&M. Prior to 72andSunny, Hoey was ECD at ALTO NY, group ECD at R/GA NY and CD at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam.

Michael Kleinmann returns to Australia after five years at Droga5 New York. He’ll join 72andSunny in October. An acclaimed designer with a global career that spans leadership roles in Design and Art Direction. he is best known for work that intersects culture, art, technology and absurdity.

Daniel Cook, a specialist in culturally-driven strategy across communications and entertainment. Cook has more than 20 years’ experience spanning traditional agency strategy roles in Auckland, London and Sydney and 13 years’ broadcasting strategy within the BBC, ITV and ABC. He has a PhD examining the political economy of information within mature democracies.

Award-winning creative Job van Dijk has an international career spanning more than 20 years. He has developed culturally-impactful campaigns for brands including Diesel, Axe, Heineken and T-Mobile. From Amsterdam, van Dijk has held previous roles as CD at KesselsKramer, TAXI and Anomaly.
