Seb Rennie
SCA chief commercial officer Seb Rennie is leaving the business after his role was impacted by changes to the operating model following the Seven West Media and Southern Cross Media Group merger.
Rennie announced his departure on LinkedIn, saying he would leave the business this week after three-and-a-half years with the audio company.
He joined SCA in 2023 as executive head of LiSTNR commercial before moving into the chief commercial officer role, where he led the team across radio and digital audio.
“It’s been a fantastic journey and a real privilege to have led the commercial team through a period of success,” Rennie said.
Rennie credited the team’s work across revenue and market share growth, Media i results, SCA’s 2025 AdNews Sales Team of the Year win and the growth of LiSTNR as key achievements during his tenure.
His departure comes as the merged Seven West Media and Southern Cross Media Group continues to integrate its operations.
The combined company previously flagged opportunities to reduce duplication across corporate and sales functions following the merger.
Before joining SCA, Rennie was chief investment officer at GroupM Australia and New Zealand (now WPP Media), after senior roles across the media agency sector.
Rennie said he is now open to new opportunities in commercial leadership.
