SCA signs sales and distribution deal with Audacy

Broadcaster SCA will represent US-owned audio-content company Audacy in Australia for advertising sales and distribute its podcasts via the LiSTNR platform. 

Audacy has 200 radio stations across 45 markets in the US and more than 300 podcast titles, which Australian advertisers will have access to via audio campaigns, aligning their brand and audience with market-leading content. 

Audacy will have access to LiSTNR ’s more than 2.4 million signed-in users and total monthly audience of more than 10 million. 

“Audacy is one of America’s leading audio content and entertainment companies, with many similarities to SCA in its commitment to delivering trusted local news, passionate sports coverage and the music audiences love,” said Grant Tothill, executive head of LiSTNR operation. 

“With a network spanning more than 220 radio stations, premium podcasts, live events and digital experiences reaching over 200 million listeners every month, we are delighted to be partnering with the Audacy team to represent them in Australia.”

The head of podcasts at Audacy, Leah Reis-Dennis, said partnering with SCA and LiSTNR allows the company to extend reach to even more listeners around the world.
