SCA’s total audio revenue revenue was up 4.7% to $105.1 million in the September quarter, the broadcaster said in a trading update.

The company told the ASX that a “strong sales” performance was delivering commercial share gains in both broadcast and digital.

Its metro radio share was 1.8 points to 29.8% on last year.

LiSTNR digital audio revenue continued to outpace the market, with share increasing to 49%, up five percentage points.

The company's EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) surged 129% to $14 million.

The broadcaster was maintaining “disciplined cost management” with total costs down 3.4% compared to the same quarter last year.

The company re-affirmed full year EBITDA guidance in the range of $78 million to $83 million.

“SCA’s positive operating momentum continues into FY26 with our focus on growing and monetizing the audience that matters,” said CEO John Kelly.

“We have seen continued improvement in revenue share across both broadcast and digital as our sales teams outperform the broader market.

SCA and Seven West Media have agreed to a merger in a cashless transaction, creating a new entity with revenue of $1.777 billion and a market capitalisation of $417 million.

SCA said it had appointed an independent expert, Kroll, to assess whether the transaction is in the best interests of shareholders.
