SCA (Southern Cross Austereo) has appointed Kieran Simpson as content manager for the Hit Network’s Carrie & Tommy Drive show.

Simpson is an award-winning producer with more than 13 years’ experience across broadcast, audio and digital platforms in the UK and Australia.

He was previously head of digital at The Project and has held leadership roles at breakfast radio across all three major broadcast and audio networks.

“Carrie and Tommy are two of the most talented broadcasters in the country, with an incredible ability to connect with audiences," said Amanda Lee, head of Hit Metro content said.

"Bringing on Kieran as content manager is a strategic step in supporting the continued evolution of the show. His creative leadership, extensive audio expertise and digital-first mindset make him the perfect person to help shape the next chapter of Hit’s popular Drive show, working closely with Carrie and Tommy to build on what already makes the show so successful.

"Having worked with Carrie and Tommy previously, Kieran has a strong rapport with the team. We’re excited about the energy and ideas he’ll bring to the show and the wider Hit Network.”

Simpson will work closely with Carrie & Tommy and the Drive content team, reporting directly to Amanda Lee.
