Robert Morgan, the executive chair of Clemenger, is stepping down as the chair of umbrella arts group Creative Australia.
He started as chair of the Australia Council for the Arts in July 2021 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He then ushered the arts council to be transformed as Creative Australia, the centrepiece of the Australian Government’s National Cultural Policy: Revive, a place for every story, a story for every place.
“We thank Robert for his energy, insights, and advocacy in leading the organisation to this point, acknowledging his intention to hand over to a successor to continue this exciting work,” said Creative Australia.
Deputy chair Wesley Enoch will be acting chair.
